Na turned @# on October 21st. We celebrated on Sunday with a fabulous white lasagna dinner(Na made) and a chocolate cake with homemade butter cream frosting (I made). We had a blast. We all played Wii while Andre and Appa watched baseball. Poor Aunt Sarah was sick so she missed all the fun.

A Day at the Fair and a Night at Weezer
Weezer
Weezer
Weezer performing with 35 high school and college students during their encore.
Hercules the 6'6'' giant horse
And I thought nursing one baby hurt :)
A view from the Ferris Wheel. The one ride I will never go on because I am so scared but Dilan wanted to go so I did it. My palms were sweaty the entire time.

Here we are waiting for Angels & Airwaves to go on.
The Merry-Go-Round
Dilan finally got his cotton candy he has been talking about for days.
So that it what it feels like to milk a fake cow!

What an incredible day that Dilan and I just had. We went to the Arizona State Fair today. I didn't think he would be up for too many rides since he tends to get queasy but I think that phase may be over. We went on tons of things and he was fine. I asked him what his favorite was and he said everything. A few rides we went on were the Tilt-A-Whirl, Skyflyer, Superslide, Silver Streak and Wave (3 times). It was really hot out there today so the water ride was great because it got you a bit wet. Then we were off to the petting zoo and Unkle Kunkle's Farm for some free fun. After that was cotton candy and $6 slices of pizza. Then for the end of the day we were off to see Weezer. This was Dilan's first real concert (Wiggles and Dora don't really count). We had 7th row seats off to the side that were amazing. Dilan played air guitar and drums throughout the entire show. Weezer played his favorite song called Beverly Hills and they played all my old favorites. A band called Angels & Airwaves opened up for Weezer. I had never listened to them before but I will tell you that they were awesome. I have already declared the lead singer my new boyfriend. You are about to see many camera phone pics from today and video clips from the show. It was an extremely expensive day but in the end completely priceless for the time I had with Dilan.

Happy 7th Anniversary

Tonight, Andre and I went to Mastro's City Hall to celebrate our 7 year Anniversary. It is actually on the 19th but we booked the Na for tonight. We feasted on shrimp, crab, scallops and seared ahi and was it ever yummy. I am so used to eating small portions that I currently feel like I am going to explode. After dinner they brought out a piece of cake with a candle for us. We then went to Kierland Commons to walk around. Unfortunately I had on a pair of really cute heals that were killing my feet since I live in Crocs, so we didn't make it very far and here we are back at home by 9:30.

MacDonald's Ranch

Today we went to MacDonald's Ranch to the Pumpkin Patch. Little did we know we were in for so much fun. It started with a hay ride down to the patch where the kids picked out their pumpkins. When we came back the kids went to the little petting area with bunnies, goats, miniature horses and burros. Then they went through a hay maze and to top it all off they got to ride on an Arabian horse named Scheek. The handler that led them around was named Compass. So many of these places cost so much money and are so far away but the price was right and it was so close (only 1 1/2 miles from Na and Appa's house). What a fun day!
Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure
Yesterday, Andre participated in the Race for the Cure in downtown Phoenix with over 34,000 people. He does it every year with his company. About 200 employees did it this year. Andre just lost one of his co-workers and another one is fighting right now. These are only two of the several in his company right now that he knows well. He had his race shirt along with the shirt that TriWest printed up for them. Here are a few really early morning pics that I snapped right before he left. He also does this race in memory of my cousin Gail. We love you Gail Ann.

Words or Phrases of the Week
Addie: Bye, Cookie, Di Di (for Dilan), keys, ball
Haylee: Sings, "Do you hate me, do you love me?" I know this sounds really bad. I think she heard the Blue October song Hate Me so she was going around singing Do you hate me. So I started saying no I love you. So she added that too, thank goodness :)

Welcome to AZ Uncle Alex
Uncle Alex just moved here from New Jersey a couple of days ago so we went to welcome him and get some of his cookin'. He is quite the chef. Tonight was linguine with meatballs. I did skip those considering the meat thing and all but the rest of the fam dove right in. There was a great salad and some lovely toasted garlic bread on the Breville Indoor Grill. Then for dessert we had some chocolate chip cookies and once again Addie was in heaven. Here is a pic of Andre, Uncle Alex, Dilan, Haylee and Addisen.

Ice Cream Treats
It amazes me how Addisen is so picky with EVERYTHING she eats and drinks but when it comes to ice cream she chows it down. I am starting to think maybe she should eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We can't get her weight to go up from 20 pounds. I have taken her off of night feedings because of the reflux problems that started (GI Dr. is fine with it) and she is getting two bolus feedings a day in order to increase her daily food and beverage intake. Today we are starting on a new drink called Vital Jr which is made for kids with milk intolerance problems. When she drinks milk she projectile vomits yet has no allergy to it. She can eat cheese, yogurt and obviously ice ream with no problem. I was told she would probably grow out of the milk issue. Anyway, Addie eats a lot of ice cream because she loves it and it does have a bunch of calories. How I wish I could do that. After a dinner that she barely ate she pounded down and entire ice cream bar.
Playing at Na's

I can't believe it is already October. Holy cow how time flies. We hung out with Na today. I had to pick up some new liquid beverage for Addie at Phoenix Children's today called Vital Jr and then we headed to Duck and Decanter for some yummy lunch. After that we went to Na's for some dress up and Wii Bowling. Here are a couple of pics from today of the girls.
