Haylee's Last Day of Preschool

Mrs. Eager and Haylee
Enough pictures Mom!

I can hardly believe it.  Today was Haylee's last day of preschool.  This year was over in a flash. She had a wonderful year with such a great teacher, Mrs. Eager.  They brought in a big water jumpy thing and had a pizza party.  The girls had a ball.

Haylee's Swim Lesson

Haylee is terrified of the swimming pool so I have put her in lessons in hopes of loving the water. The first lesson she had a death grip around Jennifer's neck and screaming galore.  The second time she had strep so she missed so third time was maybe a charm.  No way!  She cried the entire time.  Although, she did participate by kicking her legs and blowing bubbles.  It was a huge improvement.  Maybe next week we will have less or no tears.  My fingers are crossed.

Happy Mother's Day!

Today we celebrated with Na at our house by swimming and eating pizza.  We had a blast.  The pool was still a bit chilly but we all got in.  It was a wonderful relaxing day full of fun and lots of Coca :)

Addie's 1st Swim Lesson

Addie had her first swim lesson today.  She got up very excited and walked proudly down to the pool with her Hello Kitty purse in hand.  She did OK.  Cried a bit but also kicked, blew bubbles and monkey walked.  I thought for a bit she might bite Jennifer because she was screaming no at her and had that look but she didn't, thank goodness.

Mark and Sarah McGuire Visit

My cousins Mark and Sarah were out for a quick visit from Wisconsin.  They are here for a conference so we had them over for dinner tonight.  I made my lasagna, caesar salad, bread and apple pie.  It was so great to see them.  I sure wished they lived closer.

I'm 33!

May 2nd was my 33rd birthday!  Andre made me lemon filled Ebelskiver pancakes.  We then followed that with lemon zester cookies, yummy.  For dinner our friends Jim and Tiffany took us to Blu Burger Grille where I indulged in a Red Appletini.  Katy was so sweet to watch the kids for us and also she made me a chocolate bundt cake which she knows I just love.  The next day I woke up having a sugar hangover, my body is just not used to that anymore.  We went to my mom's for a day of fun and an Extreme Lemon Bundt cake.  Is anybody detecting a theme here?  We had a blast, i didn't even leave till 8pm.  I also got to see the first signs of Sarah's baby bump and it is oh so cute :)  In all, my 33rd rocked!  I was back to Zumba on Monday night to detox my body.
