Addie Goes to Sweet 'N' Sassy

Since the kids were off to school I thought I would take Addie for a morning of pampering toddler style. She had her hair shampooed, cut, then topped off with a blow dry and glitter hair spray. They end it with a glitter shooting star on her face and a lollipop. What could be better when you are three?

Dilan starts 3rd Grade

Time has surely flown by. Dilan is already in 3rd grade, holy cow! He has grown-up so much. This year he has Mrs. Tucker who is such a wonderful teacher.

First Day of Kindergarten

"Meet The Teacher Night" with Ms. Goings. Haylee has actually known Ms. Goings since she was 2 but hey, we still had to familiarize ourselves with the room again :)

I cannot believe my baby girl Haylee is big enough to be in Kindergarten. She is in Ms. Goings class which makes her really happy. This will be such a great year for her.

I got a wonderful call out of the blue that Andre's cousins from Oklahoma were going to be visiting over Spring Break. It was such a great chance for us to see each and the little cousins to get a chance to get to know each other. The kids and I drove to Fountain Hills and spent the day with Athena, Randy, Andrew and Alaina. We ate lunch at the hotel, swam and played at the park. We then met up with Alexia, Brian, Katrina, Camden and Aunt Marty for some Greek Food. What an incredibly fun day we had! We can't wait to see you all again.

After our Leprechaun picnic at the park a few of us went to a friends to enjoy her farm. The kids got to ride horses, pet chickens and ride tree swings. My kids were in heaven. I have discovered that Addie is a true farm girl. She enjoyed every minute and even just sat to take everything in. Her favorite part was the chickens. If she could have she would have taken one home for a pet. Dilan loved riding the horse over and over and Haylee loved running around doing it all. It was fun to share it with our friends too, it made it a special and unforgettable day!

St. Patrick's Day

St. Patrick's Day was so much fun here. I took the kids to the park for a Leprechaun picnic with all their friends. They had lots of treats and tons of fun.

Miette - 6 Months Old

My little niece Miette is 6 months old, I can't believe it! Time has sure flown. She is so cute and she looks like a mini version of my brother.

Addie's 1st Haircut

So I decided it was time for Addie's first haircut. She has pretty fine thin hair since it is from birth :)

It was time and we all know I have a hard time getting haircuts for my girls with the curly hair. My

friend Lori cut it and it turned out so cute. It is even curlier than before, I love it!

Oh Addie, Not Again

On Monday February 22nd Addie would have to make another hospital visit. This time it would be for chronic UTI's. The poor baby was on her third one since the end of December. She runs 105 fevers with these and hurts so bad. They tried shots of Rocephin at the Pediatrician but she was still running a high temperature and vomiting. We were admitted to Scottsdale Shea were they took wonderful care of her. She had a Renal Ultrasound and a VCUG performed. Both tests came back normal. We were sent home after 48 hours. Dr. Kanagal decided to put her on 3 months of Bactrin and Probiotics to hopefully stop these. No pictures this time because I flew out the door with her to get to the hospital. Fingers crossed that she doesn't get any more of these.

Flat Iron

My friend Lori gave Haylee a much needed haircut (only her 2nd haircut ever)! It was so long and with her curls it was getting very hard to manage. I actually loved t and didn't mind but Haylee was the one who insisted it was cut. She wanted it shoulder length, I said just a trim so we compromised in the middle. Now with it flat ironed it still looks really long but once the curls sprung back it is much shorter. She loved it and so do I.
