Best Hugs In Town

Ironically Addie has on her favorite outfit in this pic given to her by Sarah, Mark, Maddie, Caitlin and James!

I have never felt such an incredible hug from a 15 month old like Addisen's. She wraps her arms around you and squeezes. I have actually called them, "Sarah McGuire hugs!" For all of you who know my cousin, you know what I mean. They are hugs like no other. I love you Addisen Eleanor.

Faux Hawks and Sweet Faces

Today Dilan had a half day. We always spend it with Na since she doesn't get to see Dilan as much with these long school days. Today we ate at one of our new Tramonto eateries called Hot Bagels and Deli and was it ever yummy. What a great lunch deal too, a bagel sandwich, chips and 24oz drink for $5.50. Haylee and my mom had Bagel dogs which they said were delicious too. Dilan got a muffin since he already ate at school and Addie just grazed. We saw the Kindergarten teachers there too along with another friend of mine Amy. After lunch we hit the new hair cutting place called Sports Clips. Luckily as I was leaving HB&D I saw a coupon for $7.95. When we walked in Dilan saw a friend from class and instantly wanted the same haircut which was a faux hawk. I agreed with a slight variation. We kept the sides just a bit longer. So off went the curls and that little boy look. I snapped a couple shots of the new hawk and then Addie posed and started saying cheese so there are some shots of the girls too.

Congrats Obama!

We FINALLY have a new President!

The First Semi Cool Day

When I woke up this morning I took a peak at Yahoo weather and it said it was only going to be 78 today.  So much better than 90.  So I gave Dilan a choice of short or long sleeves for school.  I knew he would pick long because he has been asking for 3 months now.  I thought he looked so cute!

Happy Halloween

Almost done Trick-Or-Treating.
The very beginning of the night and that was the best shot I could get.  Poor Dilan tried everything to get Addie to sit.
Addie trying to eat a rock.  She won't eat food but a rock?
How cute is my Pirate Princess and glitter free might I add!
Gotta love my Power Ranger with red hair!

Trick-Or-Treat said my kiddos for most of the evenings as they went door to door.  Dilan was the Red Jungle Fury Power Ranger, Haylee a Pirate Princess and Addisen Minnie Mouse.  It is getting increasingly more difficult to get their pictures together and even ones of Addie alone.  So here are a few.  Hope everyone had fun!

Feasting on the cookie that Dilan just decorated

My wreath making table

So here we have to call it a Fall Party because why would we want to celebrate Halloween.  We don't want to hurt anyone's feelings for goodness sakes.  I am a bit bitter on this entire subject. When I went to school we got to dress up and celebrate but now a days you are forbidden which really SUCKS!  I volunteered to help today since the Na was able to watch the girls.  I was at the wreath making set of tables which was fun.  I got to meet all of Dilan's classmates.  Here are a few pics from today's festivities.

Stepping Stones Halloween Parade

Yes, we can actually call it a Halloween Parade. Stepping Stones Preschool is not afraid to have kids dress up in costumes and celebrate a fun time of the year.  Haylee had fun today with all her friends dancing and having a party.  Mrs. Eager let each child decide what they wanted to bring and her choice was a salad so I told her there were many options for that.  She chose a fruit salad which just made me remember I forgot to bring the rest home.  She looked adorable in her costume which is a Pirate Princess.  As soon as they were done with the parade the kids came in for their food and like father like daughter she changed into her regular clothes as to not get her costume dirty.  Daddy was so proud when I told him :)

Hole in the Wall

So last night as I was watching my favorite couple Lance and Lacey on Dancing with the Stars my two little cuties Dilan and Haylee were nicely and quietly playing in Dilan's room. Or so I thought.  They decided it would be fun to try out Haylee's gymnastics moves on Dilan's bed and hence we now have a hole in the wall! Dilan came running out putting the blame on Haylee which sent tears streaming down her face and the words, "no it was Di Di" (Dilan). After about 15 minutes, Dilan said, "Haylee MADE me do it."   Then it was, we both did it together.  We think they probably flipped together and Dilan's foot went in.  Neither of them are hurt so that is what matters.

Haylee's Garden at School

At Stepping Stones Preschool the class plants a garden.  Haylee brought in some flowers and seeds last week to plant.  What an amazing school.  She is having so much fun.

The Tooth Fairy Is Coming!

Here is how we started, see how the tooth was bent backwards.
The wet rag used to grip the tooth as Dilan wiggled and pulled.
And it's out!

At last, the tooth fairy will make a visit tonight.  Dilan's tooth has been loose for about 4 months. It was pointed backwards tonight so I told him it was time.  He got out a rag a wiggled and pulled for about 30 minutes with no luck. He told me I could try but it was the last of the night so i had to make it count and what do you know, it popped right out.  Dilan's little tooth is now tucked away in his pirate tooth fairy pillow awaiting the grand arrival.

Haylee's New Gymnastics Outfit

I found this adorable gymnastics outfit at Target yesterday and couldn't pass it up.  I knew she would just love it.  It went on the moment I brought it home.

Happy Birthday Na!

Na turned @# on October 21st.  We celebrated on Sunday with a fabulous white lasagna dinner(Na made)  and a chocolate cake with homemade butter cream frosting (I made).  We had a blast.  We all played Wii while Andre and Appa watched baseball.  Poor Aunt Sarah was sick so she missed all the fun.
