Don't Put Baby in the Corner

Addie was having major meltdowns tonight so I handed her off to Andre and she immediately wanted down.  She ran screaming to the corner by our bedroom.  So she put herself in the corner. Andre thought I was a bit cruel for capturing the moment.

White Trash Baby

I took the kids to the park today after Dilan got out of school and WOW did Addie get dirty.  I was calling her my little white trash baby because she was covered in red licorice stains and eating sand :)  She then took her nightly pee on our kitchen floor after her bath.  Need I say more.

Belated Jammies

Poor Dilan has not been able to wear his long sleeve jammies that Na and Appa got him for Christmas yet because of the cast.  Tonight he was able to finally put them on.  He doesn't have to wear his brace when showering or sleeping so he was so excited.

No More Cast!

Dilan had his cast taken off today, yeah!  He said it really tickled when Dr. King used the saw to cut through the cast.  He had it re-X-Rayed and it is looking good.  He will be in a brace for 4 weeks then re-X-Rayed again.  The brace is basically to make him and others aware that he had a broken arm and he needs to be careful.  He is so happy to have that cast off.

Holy Sh@&, We Do Believe!

GO CARDINALS!  This weekend I went on my semi-annual trip to Prescott to scrap with my girlfriends.  This trip though, had a bit of a glitch.  The NFC Championship game was on Sunday at 1pm.  What is a girl to do?  Scrap or football?  Scrap or football?  Do you guys actually think I chose scraping, shame on you :)  I of course chose to go to the local bar called The Windsock to watch the game.  My friend Katy joined me in my little excursion.  Thank goodness because the local townies were a bit frightening and smelly.  I then had another decision to make.  With the Eagles being my favorite team and the Cardinals coming in a very close second, which jersey do I wear?  After much thought I decided to go with my Cardinals jersey.  This was due to the fact that I did not want to be beaten up or yelled at.  I am a sensitive girl you know.  As Katy and I walked into this little bar, we were told if you are Eagles fans then leave.  I showed them my jersey under my red sweater all the while thinking in my head, "I am cheering for both teams!"  You see, I of course wanted The Eagles to win but I would really be just as thrilled with a Cardinals victory.  I thought it would be a good game and that is what we got.  I am thrilled that The Cardinals won.  I will be cheering my butt off come February 1st wearing my jersey proudly.  I couldn't have asked for a better NFC Championship game.  The two teams I always want to win all season long and it comes down to them both.  Somebody has to win and and of course there has to be a loser. For the Superbowl, GO CARDINALS!

Our Little Gymnast

Haylee had her "Show" at the Little Gym this morning.  She was AMAZING!  I guess I never realized how natural gymnastics came to her.  After the show her teacher Miss Brooke told me that from day one she has had a gymnasts form and it normally takes kids a long time to achieve that!  Way to go Haylee.

Snow Day at Preschool

Thank you Stepping Stones again.  They actually brought in a truck load of snow today for the kids to play in.  My girls had a ball.  Haylee ran out of her class and immediately made a snow angel and Addie started yelling whee whee.  They got to play for about 30 minutes.  With about 10 minutes left both girls ditched their gloves.  Addie contemplated eating snow for about 5 minutes before she dug in and Haylee was quite the sled hog!

Wild Card Weekend

This weekend opened up with a bang.  A HUGE Cardinals win over the Falcons.  Go Cards! Someone from the Cole household wore a jersey to represent each game.  Of course the most represented game was the Eagles, 4 out of 5 of us have Eagles jerseys.
