Oh Addie, Not Again

On Monday February 22nd Addie would have to make another hospital visit. This time it would be for chronic UTI's. The poor baby was on her third one since the end of December. She runs 105 fevers with these and hurts so bad. They tried shots of Rocephin at the Pediatrician but she was still running a high temperature and vomiting. We were admitted to Scottsdale Shea were they took wonderful care of her. She had a Renal Ultrasound and a VCUG performed. Both tests came back normal. We were sent home after 48 hours. Dr. Kanagal decided to put her on 3 months of Bactrin and Probiotics to hopefully stop these. No pictures this time because I flew out the door with her to get to the hospital. Fingers crossed that she doesn't get any more of these.

Flat Iron

My friend Lori gave Haylee a much needed haircut (only her 2nd haircut ever)! It was so long and with her curls it was getting very hard to manage. I actually loved t and didn't mind but Haylee was the one who insisted it was cut. She wanted it shoulder length, I said just a trim so we compromised in the middle. Now with it flat ironed it still looks really long but once the curls sprung back it is much shorter. She loved it and so do I.

A Trip to the Phoenix Zoo

With our beautiful Arizona weather we took a trip to the Phoenix Zoo in February with our MOMS Club. Only a couple of us went but the kids had a blast. We checked out a bunch of animals, had a picnic lunch with our favorite little friend Kendall and then hit the petting zoo and kids play area. Kendall even decided to climb into Pedro's little burro area which was hysterical. What a great day! As we were leaving the girls of course wanted to ride the carousel, how could I say no?

Snow Day with Nanny

On President's Day the kids, Nanny and I drove up to Wing Mountain to play in the snow. There was still a ton left and a lot less people then when Andre and I went for our disaster trip. This trip was nothing but FUN, FUN, FUN! The kids sledded till their hearts were content. We then found an untapped area to build our "Snow Queen" that Haylee desperately wanted to build. We ate a bit of nice white snow and then started to build. In the ended she ended up being a slightly slutty "Snow Queen" but that made it all the more funny. We had a great time and the kids, nanny and I loved every minute!

Greek Fest 2010 & a Cupid Baby

For Valentine's Day this year Sarah decided to throw a theme party. We did it at my mom's house and Sarah, Andre and I cooked a Greek feast! We had so much fun and the food was amazing. It took us many hours of hard work but all our guests seemed pleased. Unfortunately I have no pictures of us cooking but here are some cute pics of cute little Miette dressed as cupid :)

Haylee's Valentine's Party

Haylee's school has so many fun things. They celebrate every holiday with the correct themed items. Ya know, hearts for Valentine's and pumpkins for Halloween. None of this, Fall Party crap and you can't celebrate. I love it and will miss it so much next year when I am volunteering for winter and fall parties. It brings me back to Dilan's kindergarten year and his fall party when Julie and I were having the kids make spiders with their hands. We had to call it a Fall Spider because it couldn't be Halloween related, UGH! Good for Stepping Stones and keeping with what they believe.

Sweet & Sassy

Haylee was invited to Taylor's 5th birthday party at Sweet & Sassy. That has to be one of the cutest birthday parties for a little girl. She was in heaven. She had her hair done in an up-do with glitter hair spray, her nails painted purple, a star with glitter painted on her face and she wore a purple princess dress. Could her day have gone any better? Well it did get better. They then walked down a catwalk as she was introduced as loving Tinkerbell. They danced on stage and then did a walk around the store. She had so much fun.
