Baby Riebe's Baby Shower Bash!
On August 22nd my mom and I threw Sarah and Paul their baby shower. We had an incredible time. Their friends "showered" them with amazing gifts. The night ended at the birthing center with poor Sarah having so many contraction yet again. After two shots of Terbutaline and five pills of Nifedipine they slowed down and she was sent home again. I have a feeling we will see Baby Riebe before October 2nd. I can't wait to meet my new niece or nephew.

2nd Grade, Can You Believe It?
My first born baby boy is in 2nd grade. I can hardly believe it. This is truly the only year I can remember absolutely HATING!!!!!! I know, we don't say hate, as Haylee would say, but my 2nd grade teacher was a Bit#$!! I had my fears thinking of my 2nd grade year. I had a teacher in mind that I really wanted Dilan to get and what do you know, he got her and I LOVE her! He comes homes everyday and says she is awesome and he loves 2nd grade. She just got married last March and is expecting her first baby early February but I will take her for as long as we can have her. In two short weeks Dilan has gone from not wanting to read to being excited about it. Need I say more. FABULOUS teacher!

Albertson's Grocery Store Tour
For our MOMS Club we took a tour of our local Albertson's. It was really fun. You may ask really, fun? It ended with a FREE Starbucks of our choice!!!!!!! The kids got to pet a live lobster, see cake decorating while they ate their free cookie and then stood in the nice cold refrigerator where the milk was stored. And in AZ, that was a highlight, a refrigerator :)

Cerreta Candy Company
Today for MOMS Club we went to Cerreta Candy Company. First you listen to a lady talk all about how they make the candy and what each person does at their specific "station." They bring out samples to keep the kids and mommies engaged which makes us all very happy. At some point Dilan saw Joe making fudge and asked him if he could help. Joe so nicely said yes, go wash your hands. His two friends Anthony and Johnny also tagged along to help. Joe got Dilan all set up with gloves and showed him what to do. After Dilan was done making the fudge they cut it up and off he went serving samples to the crowd of 50+ people. It was awesome and Dilan loved every minute of it. Dilan is very outspoken and it did him very well in this instance. Afterwards he helped clean everything up and he received a free coupon to make a chocolate pizza. All the kids afterwards made a delicious chocolate pizza and had such a great time doing it. It is definitely something we will have to do every summer.
