California Pizza Kitchen Tour

Our MOMS Club group had a great opportunity to go to CPK and take a tour with the kiddos. The kids also got to make their own pizzas, see where they were baked and then eat them. They all had such a blast. We were then written up in a local newspaper called The Foothills Focus http://www.thefoothillsfocus.com/093009-TramontoMoms.asp . Thanks CPK for such an amazing morning!

Addisen Eleanor is FREE!!!!!!

On September 21st marked a very significant milestone for Addie. Today is the day we were told she could finally have her G-Tube removed! What an exciting day it was. She had gained several pounds and was eating so much food. It had been 18 long months of hard work for Addie. She went through three feeding/speech therapist over that 18 months and worked so hard to learn to eat. She now loves, cheese, pasta, peanut butter and chocolate. We are all so proud of her.

Cousin Miette

Whenever I get the chance to see my niece I just can't stop snapping pictures of her. She will probably refer to me as her crazy Auntie Michelle with the camera. Oh well. When you have such an adorable subject you tend to snap away!

Haylee's 1st Day of Preschool

Haylee is back at Stepping Stones Preschool for her 2nd year of Preschool. Her teacher this year is Mrs. Yanez. We really like her and Haylee seems to really like her too. Haylee walked right in this morning without a problem.

Miette Meets The Cole Family

I took Dilan, Haylee and Addsen down to the hospital to meet their new cousin Miette. When Addie walked into the room she started clapping. The kids are so excited, they just love her. Andre had to work yesterday so he went down last night and held his new niece for the first time. It really took him back since we had such tiny babies too :)

Happy Birthday Miette Lillian Riebe!!!!!

On Saturday, September 5, 2009 at around 8am I got the official call from Paul that Sarah's water had broken. It was 4 weeks early but we had been expecting this to happen with so many early contractions. I quickly jumped in the shower awaiting my phone call that it was time to head to the hospital. AT 8:43 I got that call, Sarah was at 2 centimeters and 100% effaced. I jumped in the car with my camera in tow and drove very carefully in the pouring rain the 40 minutes to the hospital. When I got there Sarah has just been moved to her room 129. Her contraction were about 7 minutes apart. She was still able to walk through them at this point. At about 12:00 the pain level started to change a bit for her. There was no more talking and finding a comfortable position was a thing of the past. You see, Sarah was doing an all natural child birth! Go Sarah go! At about 1pm Sarah was told she could walk a little more so we took a little walk and that really got things going. She had to head back to the room. All of a sudden at 1:50, during a contraction Sarah screamed I have to push. My mom called the labor and delivery nurse Marilyn, who by the way was AMAZING and what do you know, she was ready to push. They quickly called Dr. Reuss who by the way is a back-up. Dr. Frazier who never takes a day off was watching his son get married that day. Wouldn't you know :) Anyway, we weren't sure if this would be a nurse delivery but the Dr. did get there. I had the absolute privilege to watch every moment of this beautiful baby being born. We did not know whether the baby was a boy or girl so that made it really fun. Sarah pushed for 27 minutes with not one drop of pain medication or an epidural. She was a superstar! I will also tell you that Paul was a coach that I would have by my side any day. He knew exactly what to do and say.
