Dave Matthews Band Concert

Dave Matthews Band Tickets: $166.55
Dinner at Which Wich: $28.12
Bottled Water at Circle K: $3.68
Spending an evening out with my husband: Priceless

Last night Andre and I went to go see the Dave Matthews Band concert. We have a wonderful friend Natalie who watched the kids. Without her, this night would not have been possible. We started by going to Westgate for dinner at a yummy little sandwich shop called Which Wich. We then had to make our stop at Circle K to get our sealed bottle of water for the show. Considering it was 109 degrees we thought we should be hydrated. Once we got there we had to contend with 20,000 other people for a parking spot. In true Andre fashion he did not listen to the gentleman directing traffic. In Andre's defense, this man wanted us to park up on a curb in his Mazda. That was not going to happen so Andre drove into the lot where there was plenty of spots left even though that man said there were none. Once that was settled it was time to make our way up to the gate and again get in line with about 2000 of our closest friends. Once in, we got to our seats and anxiously awaited Dave. He came on at 8:30 and proceeded to play until 11:30. What a show it was. It started off with the song Bartender in memory of his Saxophone player LeRoi Moore who died on Tuesday, August 19th. They played one of my favorite songs Don't Drink The Water as their first encore song. If you are ever thinking about going to one of their shows I highly recommend it. It is worth every penny. Andre said afterwards that he wants to go every year which definitely works for me. We don't get many date nights with three kids and especially with Addie having the G-Tube. Again, thank you Natalie for taking this hard task on, we sincerely appreciated it.

I'm so glad you had a great date night! Sounds like Natalie survived too! Hope you get to do at least one a year!
