Black Friday

Katy and I outside of Wal-Mart
Me in Kohl's
Our loot!

The alarm went off at 3:20 this morning.  Off I went to pick-up Katy at 3:45 so we could hit Kohl's at 4am.  There was a good size line and when the doors opened most people walked in an orderly fashion but you had a couple of runners.  I went directly towards my Kitchen Aide Knife set for $29.99 regularly $99.99.  Andre had hidden it for me two days prior.  Next was the toy section where I found a couple of things for Addie and something for Dilan.  Next I got myself a little something.  A new pair of jeans.  Why you ask, I will tell you.  I have lost 39 pounds and things aren't fitting real well. Then I found a cute pair of black comfy pants too.  I was weighed down with my bag, creases in my shoulders so it was time to check out.  Those lines were long but moving.  After that we went to Wal-Mart where it was packed.  I got just a couple of things there and then off to the outlets where I only found something little for Addie.  So I took Katy home and decided to go back to Kohl's where I got Dilan a couple more things.  What a fun morning!

Andre Gives Thanks!

Andre celebrated Donovan McNabb's 4th touchdown pass with a Gobble Gobble dance this evening!  That is what he was thankful for, great fantasy numbers today.

Addie's Tu-Tu

Here are pics of Addie in her new Tu-Tu that I made her during my scapbooking night.

Aeros Last Game

The Aeros played their last game on Monday.  We ended in a 6-6 tie, woo-hoo!  Our seasons record was 0-8-2.  The kids were presented with medals at the end and were so proud of themselves.  They had such a fun season.  It was a late game so Addie had enough so my friend Julie snuggled her in a blanket and held her for 45 minutes.  She never cuddles with me like that!  Here is another video of Dilan hitting the ball with Andre pitching to him in his game.

Dilan's Hit Via Camera Phone

Dilan had some great hits today, I even captured one via camera phone! They lost AGAIN but it was a great game and they scored a bunch. Dilan slid into home twice and went 4 for 4 today!

Addisen Eleanor Update

Addie had her second Upper GI done on Monday. Everything looked good except for some minor reflux. I spoke to her GI Doctor tonight over the phone. They are going to start her on the Prevacid SoluTab tomorrow. I am hoping she will take this since she is so against things in her mouth. Dr. Siaw said it would be the best for her though. If we can't get her to take in then we will have to go to Zantac through her G-Tube. The hope is that this will help her with all the discomfort she is in. She seems to be in pain and very uncomfortable. If it does then we will do a wait and see. If it does not help, then Dr. Siaw is going to go back in and do an Endoscopy and a Sigmoidoscopy to take biopsy's to see if there is something else going on like a possible allergy that we have missed. Today was another day of a lot of screaming and no food by mouth :(

Dad's Night

Tonight was Dad's Night at Stepping Stones Preschool. Haylee has looked forward to this night for quite some time. Andre and Haylee started out the night at McDonalds for a little father daughter dinner then off to the preschool they went. They built a huge tower out of blocks. The drew on a tile with sharpies and they made a tie. There was a shaving station but Haylee didn't want to partake in that one (Andre was relieved). Haylee would be in the picture too but she was a bit tired after the nights events and refused.

Date Night

Andre and I got to go on a date tonight to Sushi Brokers. Thanks to The Little Gym for watching Dilan and Haylee for 4 hours. For $32 they got to do gymnastics, do a craft, eat pizza and watch a movie! We dropped Addie off with Na and Appa and she had a blast just being by herself and getting all the attention. Andre and I had a great time eating lots of raw fish and we enjoyed the beautiful night (we ate outside).

Another Tooth Bites the Dust

Tonight was another night of tooth pulling for Dilan and I. He did his usual 5 pulls to my one and on the last go round out it popped. I will say on one of his last pulls, Dilan really loosened it up for me. He tucked his tooth into his Pirate Treasure Pillow where it will await the Tooth fairies visit tonight. He also told me that she would stop and visit Na's house, Uncle Paul's and Uncle Alex's. I love his little smile :)

GO CARDINALS!

Dilan and Andre went to the Cardinals game last night and what a game it was. They had so much fun. The Cardinals won 29-24 with a goal-line stand with 4 seconds to go. They didn't get home until 12:30 last night, thank goodness there was no school or work today.

Another Birthday Celebration for Paul

We celebrated Paul's birthday again on Sunday with the fam. His dinner choice (1pm since Dilan had another party at 5) was mac 'n' cheese, salmon patties, peas, stewed tomatoes & a pumpkin pie. We played Wii and watched a storm blow through. What a fun afternoon.

GLITTER, Could It Really Be?

If I didn't take pictures would anyone actually believe that Dilan was using GLITTER in glue form in the actual house? Dilan had a butterfly project for school that he needed to decorate. The first thing that he wanted to use was GLITTER. Poor Andre's chin hit the floor but he decided that Dilan could buy some GLITTER glue. So off to Target we went were Dilan saw a 12 pack :) He is doing a very nice job with very minimal GLITTER overage. I can hear Andre cleaning up right now. I am so proud of you hunny for taking such a big GLITTER step!
