My little Hannah Montana

Out of nowhere Haylee loves Hannah Montana.  She says it really cute too.  I actually had know clue what she was saying but Na figured it out.  I am not sure how she even knows who she is since we watch Drake and Josh, Spongebob and I Carly.  Today she went and picked out a shirt, PJ's and hair accessories.

Crib Cuties

Addie was sleeping soundly at 8:45 this morning so I decided to take a shower.  When I got out I heard lots of giggling and when I peaked my head around the corner Addie's door was open with the light on.  I figured Haylee was in the room on the floor playing but of course she had climbed into Addie's crib.  They were laughing and jumping and having a ball.

The Last Swim

I think today was probably our last swim of the season.  The pool is getting pretty chilly.  Dilan may be able to go a couple more times but I am not sure I can do it.  I have become quite the wuss in my old age.

Dilan the Baseball Player

Dilan loves to get costumes on.  This mornings choice was to be a baseball player.  He is getting ready for his first season of Coach Pitch which starts in a couple of weeks.

Addie Loves the camera

When I bring out my camera Addie just loves it.  She will say cheese about 50 times.  I had to get a picture of her in this dress.  I purchased it when Haylee was her about one and she never wore it.  It still had the tags on so I thought I best use it at least once.  We saw Addie's GI Dr. yesterday.  She is 28 1/4 inches and 20.08 pounds.  She hasn't been gaining any weight again. This is in part to me taking her off the continuous feed at night.  She started having reflux problems and was miserable trying to sleep.  She is drinking lots of chocolate rice milk but we have to come up with a new bolus plan during the day.  The Dr. is thinking maybe Pediasure through the tube since it is 30 calories per ounce.  Anyway, she is starting to say more words and is just as sweet as ever.

Haylee with "Flat" Hair

Last night Haylee was at Grannie Annie's house.  After her bath she blew her hair out straight or  as Dilan calls it "flat".  She looks so different but oh so cute.

Sayings or New Words of the Week

Addisen:  Uh-Oh, Mine
Haylee:  Well actually..., Well cause..., What the heck?
Dilan:  I have changed my ways and I am now new and improved!

Blue Eyed Baby Girl

It is so strange to have a baby with blue eyes considering the other two have brown eyes.  Just thought this was cute.

Haylee LOVES School

All Haylee can talk about is how much she loves school.  She is always saying how she loves Mrs. Eager.  When she walked into the classroom this morning she even kicked off her shoes.  Now that is feeling comfortable in the classroom.  Everyday they ask you a question when you walk in the classroom.  Today's question was, "Are you wearing blue today?"  Her answer was yes.  She also has me wet down her hair at the sink on schooldays.  She likes it nice and curly.

GO EAGLES!

The kids all had on their Eagles jerseys for the game last night.  They are such dedicated little fans.  It was a great game but in the end our Eagles lost 41-37.  McNabb looked super fab yet again.  I think he is going to have a great year.

Ouch!

What is the deal with the men in my life.  Both Andre and Paul have successfully injured their fingers within one week of each other.  First Paul almost severed his middle finger on his right hand last Monday when he was picking up metal to make lids for the drums to collect resteraunt oil (he makes bio diesel) and then last night Andre received second degree burns to three of his fingers on his left hand.  Andre was grilling bacon and when he pulled the tinfoil off onto the tray it tipped and 600 degree bacon grease ran over his fingers.  I have never seen him in so much pain.  The ER gave him two shots of morphine and then two shots of demerol.  By the time those took affect it was about 9pm last night and it knocked him out.  He was sent home with Percoset but had an allergic reaction to that so we are off to the Dr. this morning to have his hand checked and to get different pain meds.  Depending on what the Dr. says he may have to visit the burn center.  I am going to have to be cleaning his hand every day which includes scrubbing off the dead skin and putting cream on it then bandaging it.   I think I am ready for nursing school.  After Addie and her G-Tube and now Andre and his burns I think I'm ready :)  I told Andre that if he needed to find a silver lining in all of this then it would be that he wouldn't miss any of the Eagles game tonight by getting home late from work.  The first two pictures are of my brother Paul's finger and then the last two are of Andre's fingers.

Miss Nelson is Missing!

Today, Dilan and I drove to to Tempe Center for the Arts and saw the play Miss Nelson is Missing.  I loved this book as a kid and Dilan really enjoys it now.  We had front row seats which was great for Dilan.  He laughed so hard throughout the entire thing. Afterwards he chose to go to Inn and Out where he pounded down a double-double, fries and a chocolate shake.  We had so much fun together.

CHEEEEESE

Addie is all about saying cheese when you pull out the camera.  She does it on queue, I just love it!

Playing Dress-Up

The girls stayed with Na on Wednesday morning and they played dress-up.

An Hour at the Park

As we drove home from school today the kids begged that we go to the park.  So after Dilan finished with his homework I decided to take the kiddos over to our city park which is just a few houses away.  It was a bit cloudy which actually made for a pleasant time at 4:45 in the afternoon.  The girls blew bubbles and had a great time on the swings.  Dilan met a little boy in second grade and they ran around having a great time.

Are you ready for some football?

It has been a very long 7 months of no football.  Thank goodness tonight they kicked things off with the Super Bowl Champion new York Giants and the Washington Redskins.  I am again excited for Fantasy Football and Sundays filled with game after game (thank you Direct TV). The kids also enjoyed the game tonight with some goldfish snacks.  I am so glad they like football too!
